Ondulé Transparency
60"H x 14"W Transparent weaving hand-dyed linen, acrylic support Seeking innovative ways to express my ideas through weaving has always been a prime motivator for me. Ondulé Transparency is a continuation of my exploration of textiles that engage their environment by being semi-transparent rather than presenting an opaque barrier. Woven using a fan reed which allows the warp threads to move out of alignment during weaving. This piece was exhibited in the 2024 "Complexity" exhibit sponsored by Complex Weavers.
