In graduate school, I hung out with a lot of geologists and came to appreciate the layers that make up the lay of the land. Wallace Stegner's novel about mining supplied the title for Angle of Repose. Angles in Yellow explores a similar motif in a different hue.
I dyed and overdyed wool yarn to get this vast array of reddish and yellowish hues.
